 If not at fault...

1) YOU MAY NEED A COPY OF THE POLICE REPORT.

2) LOOK FOR THE OTHER PARTY'S INSURANCE COMPANY.  

3) ASK YOUR AGENT FOR THE COMPANY'S PHONE NUMBER, IF NOT ON THE POLICE REPORT. 

4) THE DRIVER IN THE ACCIDENT NEEDS TO CALL THAT INSURANCE COMPANY AND REPORT THE ACCIDENT.

5) GIVE THEM THE OTHER PERSON'S POLICY NUMBER.  

6) WRITE DOWN THE CLAIM NUMBER. 

7) ASK IF AN ADJUSTER WILL BE COMING TO LOOK AT YOUR CAR.

8) GET THE NAME OF YOUR ADJUSTER.

9) GET THE ADJUSTER'S PHONE NUMBER.

10) ASK WHAT YOU NEED TO DO TO GET A RENTAL CAR.

11) GIVE S&W A CALL WITH THIS INFORMATION.

   

If at fault...

1) LOCATE YOUR INSURANCE CARD.

2) FIND THE PHONE NUMBER TO YOUR INSURANCE CARRIER.  

3) CALL IN AND REPORT CLAIM.

4) WRITE DOWN THE CLAIM NUMBER.  

5) FOLLOW STEPS 7-11 ABOVE.
